Total Phone, Internet Outage In Van Zandt County

VAN ZANDT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - The Kaufman County Sheriff's Department is taking emergency calls for Van Zandt County after a total 911, cell phone, land line and internet outage Saturday.

Dallas-based AT&T tells CBS11 in a statement:

Due to cable damage caused by another company doing construction work, some customers in the Van Zandt County may be experiencing issues with their wireline and wireless service. Technicians are on site working to restore service as quickly as possible. We apologize for this inconvenience.
