KRLD -- Social media has impacted most of our lives today, and predictions of the future show it's only going to dig in further.

Analysts worldwide predict a big platform transition for social media, while the average person simply wants their posts to get noticed.

Brandon Tripp and Kenn Moffitt, social media analysts at University of North Texas, address those transition rumors and offer a little insight on getting your posts to stand out.

"I think social media is always going to be relevant because it is a way for people to connect..without the hassle of having to do it in person or on the phone. It's a much more convenient way for people to connect with brands; for people to connect with friends; for people to connect with family."
