If you wanted to go surfing, you used to have to go to the ocean. Then three years ago some folks brought the ocean to Plano in the form of The FlowRider surfing machine.

"We just wanted to bring surfing to Texas. We felt that people really enjoy water sports around here and we just wanted to give them an avenue to do something fun and do something different" said owner Michael Keane of The Aqua Shop in Plano

"I'm always looking forward to coming here because it's so much fun. In New York they don't have any place like it" said Loren Hamer who is visiting from New York.
