The @CBSDFW Weather Authority: Severe Weather Threat Overnight
Good morning. We're experiencing a few
showers and storms developing across the
area at this time. Expect more widespread
rain and thunderstorms later this afternoon.
We can't rule out an isolated strong storm
later today but the severe weather threat
will increase overnight and early tomorrow
morning.
Overnight we'll see a squall line develop
out West and track East. The line of strong
storms will track across the Metroplex between
2-6am Tuesday morning.
The majority of the area will be under a
slight risk of severe weather. An enhanced
risk of severe weather will remain West of
the Metroplex. The biggest threat will be
damaging winds.
The threat for severe weather diminishes
tomorrow morning and we'll start to clear out.
More sunshine and temperatures in the
lower-70s and upper-60s return. We'll update
you on your full forecast starting at 4pm!
