Texas Tech Passing Game Will Test Nevada Defense
LUBBOCK (AP) - Seth Doege says he won't be focused on replicating his record-setting performance when Texas Tech takes on Nevada.
The junior quarterback said his NCAA record for percentage of completed passes on at least 40 attempts won't be part of his thought process heading into Saturday's game against Nevada (1-1). It is the final game before Big 12 play begins for the Red Raiders (2-0) next week.
The Wolf Pack are coming off a 17-14 win at San Jose State and will be playing the third of four road games.
Doege completed 40 of 44 passes for a career-high 401 yards in a 59-13 win at New Mexico. Doege had more TD throws with five than his four incompletions.
