Texas-Built Robot Helps Children With Autism Learn

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A Texas-built robot is changing the way children with Autism learn.
The Dallas-based company "RoboKind" created Milo, a humanoid robot that plays games and teaches trivia to kids -- and kids love him.
Researchers said children with Autism engage with the robot 87 percent of the time, compared to just three percent of the time with a therapist.
Milo is helping bridge the gap by using his expressive face to teach social skills.
About 100 schools in Dallas, Garland and Coppell are using Milo.
