SOUTHLAKE (CBSDFW.COM) - Southlake police are investigating the report of a teen who says he was approached by three strangers in a black or dark-colored SUV last night shortly before 10 p.m. as he was walking along the 600 block of East Dove Road.

The teen reported one of the men had a knife and told him to get into the vehicle. He's described as a white male in his 30's, with brown and gray stubbly facial hair, wearing a black Nike shirt and gray sweatpants. The teen refused to get into the vehicle and was able to run away. The driver of the SUV reportedly drove away in an unknown direction.

While the incident was initially reported Tuesday night, the teen didn't talk to detectives until late Wednesday afternoon. The incident is still currently under investigation.
