Tasha's To Do List: Jan. 29-Feb. 1

KRLD -- Movies, concerts, and great food! KRLD's Tasha Stevens fills you in on the biggest and best events happening across North Texas this weekend!

-- If you like the old school Madonna, check out Thursday night's "Action Pack: Totally 80's Sing-Along Madonna Party" at Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson.

-- Thursday at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, it is TCU Day. Wear any TCU gear and receive free general admission to the Stock Show grounds. They'll also have $10 rodeo tickets for TCU day with a valid TCU student ID.

-- Start the weekend party a day early. Or should I say business in the front, party in the back party. Head over to the Gas Monkey Bar and Grill Thursday night for the one and only Mullet Boyz.

-- Here is a chance for you to combine your love of music and your love of games. Thursday night at the House of Blues, you can play Rockstar Bingo: Pop Edition for amazing prizes. Or not.

-- Seether & Papa Roach will rock Southside Ballroom this Saturday night!

-- Great weather this week, so it will be perfect for Jazz in the Atrium: The Mario Cruz Quartet with Gale Cruz. It happens from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Dallas Museum of Art.

-- Kids and puppies -- two things that can always make you feel better! No puppies here, but plenty of kiddos. The 2015 North Texas Children's Choir Concert is happening Saturday at the Meyerson Symphony Center. This is going to be cool. Elementary school-aged children performing their annual concert.

-- See two of your favorite movies Friday night back to back. It is Clerks 1 and 2 at the Granada.

-- Do the time warp again Friday night at the Texas Theater's Rocky Horror Picture Show with Live Shadow Cast. Because just one dude in fishnets is never enough.

-- If your thing is a dude in head to toe purple, check out Friday night's Midnight Madness at the Inwood Theater. It is Prince in 1984's Purple Rain.

-- If watching it on TV just isn't enough for you, get the up close and personal experience of Dancing with the Stars at the Winstar Casino Friday night.

-- Marvel Universe LIVE! Is happening this weekend at the AAC. You'll be able to see your favorite Marvel Super Heroes including Spider-Man, The Avengers – Iron Man and Hulk -- along with special effects, pyrotechnics, aerial stunts, martial arts, motorcycles and more. Word is that this is the most technically advanced live show ever.

-- Five married guys conspire to secretly share a penthouse loft in the city where they can cheat on their wives. What could go wrong? I'll tell you. The dead body of an unknown woman winds up in the loft and they have to figure out who did it. See The Loft in theaters Friday.

-- It may be January, but summer is just around the corner so you need to be prepared. Check out the DFW Boat Expo Friday through Feb. 8 at Dallas Market Hall.

-- Make plans to see Big Head Todd and the Monsters at House of Blues Friday night!

-- If you plan on tying the knot, get all of your planning done this Sunday at the Fort Worth Bridal Show at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

-- If the Super Bowl isn't your thing, we got you. Go by the Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson for Sunday's Big Screen Classics: Casablanca. This screening is part of their February celebration of love!

-- Now through Feb. 8, see what I describe as a horse circus. Cavalia OdysseO combines the equestrian arts, stage arts and high-tech theatrical effects. Basically, a horse circus.

 

-- It is 2015. It is about time you learned to cook worth a darn. The 2015 Winter Chefs Cooking Class Series this Saturday at The Dallas Farmers Market will introduce you to the magical world of Texas Kobe Beef.

-- Even though my first boyfriend in 9th grade broke up with me while one of their songs played on the radio, this is still one of my favorite bands of all time. See Chicago at the Hilton Anatole Saturday night with the Catholic Charities of Dallas 2015 Bishop's Gala.

-- These guys are one of my favorite bands to come out of the 80's. Not only do they rock, but they also named themselves after my favorite scientist. See Tesla at Choctaw Casino Saturday night.
