Load up on some great grub. Savor Dallas happening today through Sunday (April 7-10)

Tonight's (4/7) Cool Thursdays at the Dallas Arboretum features Emerald City. And don't forget to get over there for Dallas Blooms…Sunday is the last day!

At Bass Hall tomorrow night (4/8), you can hear the Fort Worth Symphony perform "Bugs Bunny at the Symphony".

You know her as an actress and the wife of Tom Hanks, but Rita Wilson began her career with hopes of being a singer. She is touring with her second studio album – self-titled Rita Wilson, which is a collection of original songs that she co-wrote. See her at the Kessler Friday night (4/8).

Texas Eats is not your typical cookbook.  Describing the social history, culture and geography of the diverse regions of the second largest state in the union is as significant as the scrumptious recipes. Robb Walsh, the author of this carefully documented but engaging book, will be on hand at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the Allen Public Library, 300 N. Allen Dr., free, call 214-509-4911.

The Randy Rogers band is playing Lonestar Park Friday night. Dwight Yokum will be there Saturday night as part of the 2016 Lonestar Music Series. (4/8-9)

The 4th Annual Celina Cajun Fest is Saturday (4/9). The downtown Celina Square is the place to be for a massive crawfish boil (4 lbs. for $15 until it's all gone), music from Grammy award winning artists, car show, kid's activities and more.

Justin Bieber will be at the AAC Sunday night (4/10).

The 15th Annual Turtle Creek Tour of Homes is Sunday April 10. When I say homes, I mean houses, penthouses, the whole shebang. You know you've wondered what the inside of a high rise home looked like…now you can find out.

Texas Motor Speedway is going to be kicking this weekend. Check out the Nascar Infinity O'Reilly Auto 300 Friday night (4/8) and the Duck Commander 500 and the Loud and Proud Pre Race Show with Lynyrd Skynyrd concert is Saturday (4/9).

Here is a chance to get your dogs and cats vaccinated for free. This Saturday at the Z Bonz Dog Park Grand Opening in Fort Worth, Spay Neuter Network will offer 150 free rabies vaccinations…as well as low cost vaccinations and vouchers for a free spay or neuter (One pet per household). There will be pet-friendly games, prizes and vendors too. This park on West Camp Bowie Blvd. is located at the old golf course site. The 10 acres include areas for large and small dogs, two aerated ponds, pet water fountains and a dog wash station.

It is that time again! The Scarborough Renaissance Festival returns to Waxahachie this weekend (4/9) and runs through May 30. You can travel back to the days of King Henry the 8 in the 1530's, gnaw on a huge turkey leg, see some mermaids, buy some cool crafts and kilts, watch a Bald Eagle fly around,  and if you have 3 kids…they'll get in free this weekend. But you have to go with them.
