Summer's Intense Heat Coming Back to DFW
TODAY'S HIGH AGAIN 100 DEGREES AT DFW
Today and yesterday both saw high temperatures at DFW reach 100 degrees. This is the 21st time this year we have reached 100 degrees at DFW. In an average year we see 18 one-hundred degree days.
HIGH TEMPERATURES AROUND DFW ON SATURDAY
GETTING HOTTER
Temperatures will only get hotter as we go thru next week. The big ridge of high pressure in the heart of the country will get stronger and expand over North Texas. This will end any rain chances and increase the heat.
Look what this high pressure system did to high temperatures across the country today. It almost made it to 100 in South Dakota on Saturday.
Temperatures will climb into the 100 to 105 range thru the next 7 days. Definitely won't feel like back to school weather. I do see a potential break down of the upper level high around Labor Day. Stay tuned. Latest update coming up after the Cowboys game on CBS 11.
