Storms Blamed For Fort Worth Roof Collapse

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM/AP) - Thunderstorms moving through North Texas are being blamed for the partial collapse of an apartment complex roof.

According to Tim Hardeman with the Fort Worth Fire Department, high winds from Wednesday's storms helped bring down part of the roof of a two-story Fort Worth apartment complex.

Emergency officials said that no one was hurt. Crews are assisting apartment complex management to minimize the structural damage and property loss.

The National Weather Service reported wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour from the storms.
