Stock Show Changing Schedule To Avoid Super Bowl
Fort Worth Stock Show officials are working to overcome a calendar overlap with Super Bowl. The 23 day stock show runs right up to Superbowl Sunday , January 6th. Stock show president Brad Barnes says for the first time in their history, they're ending the show on Saturday to avoid conflict with Super Bowl. It's creating a demand for hotel rooms that's keeping prices high. Barnes says some hotels are working with the stock show to accomadate them, but he says others aren't as cooperative, especially if it involves out of state corporate headquarters.
