Stars Trade Eaves To Ducks For Draft Pick

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Stars have traded right-winger Patrick Eaves to the Anaheim Ducks for a conditional second round pick.
According to Mark Stepneski, the pick turns into a first-round selection if Eaves plays in 50% of games in the first two rounds of the playoffs and Anaheim reaches the conference final.
Eaves, 32, was enjoying a career year in Dallas. He was tied with Tyler Seguin for the team lead in scoring with 21 goals.
