Source: Cowboys Sign RB Ryan Williams To Two-Year Deal

IRVING (105.3 THE FAN) -- The Dallas Cowboys have signed running back Ryan Williams to a two-year contract, sources tell 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher.

Williams was the team's leading rusher in the preseason, but was released in final roster cuts.

After clearing waivers, he was signed to the Cowboys' 10-man practice squad, where he spent the season.

He had this to say on Twitter Tuesday morning.

Williams spent three injury-filled seasons in Arizona after the Cardinals drafted him early in the second round in 2011. He was released before signing with the Cowboys in May.

The Cowboys have decisions to make at running back this offseason, as DeMarco Murray -- who rushed for 1,845 yards -- is set to become a free agent.
