Someone's Stealing Sod From Man's Lawn

DALLAS (CBS11) - Someone keeps stealing a Dallas man's lawn.

It's happened twice now. The latest was Sunday, July 3.

"How am I going to keep someone from stealing my grass?!" said Michael Wilderman. "It was quite shocking. It was the last thing you expected to see when you pulled up to the house."

Wilderman had expensive Zoysia sod shipped from Houston and planted in his yard.

A few days later, he noticed some of it missing.

He decided to invest in some security cameras and caught footage of the crook coming back for more.

"The last thing that I ever could have thought would be someone coming to steal some sod," said Wilderman.

Wilderman filed a police report, but isn't quite sure what else can be done.

"I walk downstairs, I look outside and peer over to see if anything's missing."
