SEVERE THREAT...

The severe threat looks low for us here in the DFW Metroplex.  But areas to the South and East will have the threat of severe weather on Wednesday.  Large hail, damaging winds look to be the main threat, but a few isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out especially farther south and east you go.

HOW MUCH RAIN...

The highest rainfall totals will be in SE Texas where more than 6" of rain looks likely around the Houston area.

Below is a high resolution forecast model's output of rainfall in North Texas.  Rainfall totals will vary greatly over short distances tomorrow, but this map gives you an idea of the potential rainfall thru Wednesday.
