Small Town "Defenseless"?
The Combine city council has sacked most of the city's police department, leaving only two officers. The bulk of the 11 officers in this town on the Dallas-Kaufman county line who've been dumped were volunteer reserves. Residents used to feel safe here. Mayor Pro-Tem Tonya Ratcliff says the move was financial, the city just couldnt afford all those officers. The city council may approve two additional full-time officer positions sometime this week.
