Missing Dallas Man Returns Home Safely

UPDATE: Dallas Police say Porcello arrived at his home safely and in good health Thursday morning at 6:37 a.m.

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -- Dallas Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 79-year-old man who was last seen on Wednesday evening in northeast Dallas.

Louis Porcello was last seen leaving the 10900 block of Carissa Drive at 6:30 p.m. He was driving a silver, 4-door Toyota Camry with Texas license plate "DM6 L262".

Porcello is diabetic and suffers from Dementia.

He is described as a white male with gray hair and brown eyes standing 5-foot-7 and 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue, plaid button-up, long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding Porcello's whereabouts is encouraged to call 911 or contact the Dallas Police Department's Missing Persons Unit at 214-671-4268.
