Silver Alert Cancelled For Missing 73-Year-Old Desoto Man

The DeSoto Police Department has discontinued the Silver Alert for Mr. Murphy.

DESOTO (1080 KRLD) - There's a Silver Alert out right now for a missing man from DeSoto.

According to police 73-year-old Andrew Murphy, who has been diagnosed with a cognitive impairment, went missing Monday night around 7:00 p.m. near Heritage Hill Drive.

Mr. Murphy (B/M 5' 9", 220 lbs) was last seen wearing a gray and burgundy checkered shirt, gray slacks and black shoes; he has light skin and a bald head.

Police say he may  be driving a gray 2003 Dodge Dakota with Texas LP AA2-4639.
