DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Police are investigating a shooting in the 11700 block of Ferguson Road in Dallas that left one person dead and two others injured.

Officers responded Wednesday afternoon and found three victims at a convenience store located in a nondescript strip mall.

The surviving victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

One is in critical condition and another is in stable condition.

According to police, the three victims were standing in front of the convenience store when a male, possibly Hispanic, walked up and began shooting at the victims.

The suspect was seen leaving in a black vehicle. The make and model is unknown at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
