Service Remembers Briscoe

Former Governor Dolph Briscoe is remembered as a man who loved Texas and had a huge impact on the state he loved.  The accomplishments are many including the push to build out the farm to market road system, but former Governor Dolph Briscoe was far more than his record of accomplishments.  Governor Rick Perry said "Dolph was the first Governor I ever had the opportunity I ever had a chance to cast a ballot for."  Former Governor Mark White says millions of Texans are living a more productive and richer life because of the life of Dolph Briscoe.  "The long lasting beneficiaries of his life service is to those Texans living today and those yet to be born who will live a richer more productive life because of this sweet man Dolph Briscoe."  Briscoe died June 27 at the age of 87.
