Senator Cornyn Voting No For Kagan
Senator John Cornyn has made up his mind about the latest nominee to the US Supreme Court. Senator Cornyn says when a vote comes up next week his will be no on the confirmation of Elena Kagan to the US Supreme Court. "Because Ms. Kagan has never been a judge, which in and of itself is not a disqualifier, we don't have a record that would might otherwise have to assess how she might perform in office." Cornyn says her unwillingness to take a stand on issues, as he puts it her evasive answers, at her committee hearing is another reason he won't back her.
