DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Dallas police have released Christopher Miller of capital murder charges as well as Anderson Jones (which we reported last week) after conferring with the DA's office.

Nearly two months after the June shooting death of a Subway restaurant worker, Dallas Police arrested two of the men who investigators said were responsible.

Now an administrative investigation has been initiated to determine if the case detective followed procedures relating to the Dallas Police Department's policies.

Leonardo Ortega, 28, was killed when a robbery at a Subway restaurant in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas turned violent. It happened June 14 in the Wynnewood Village shopping center, near the intersection of Illinois Avenue and Zang Boulevard.
