WYLIE (CBSDFW.COM) - A search is on for a missing teen who jumped into Lake Lavon off a 30-foot railroad bridge Wednesday evening and didn't come up again.

Sources say the missing swimmer is 18 years old and he was with five other friends who all jumped off the train trestle.  He is the only one unaccounted for.

Wylie Fire-Rescue had boat on water and Nevada Fire Department had all its resources searching Lake Lavon for the missing teen.

Shortly after 9:00 p.m. the divers came out of the water because it got too dark but crews are still using sonar to try to find the young man.

Distraught parents told CBS11 they had no idea what the group was up to on the trestle.

They said some of the boys play on the same baseball team.
