DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) -  The search is over for a pot-bellied pig that went missing from her East Dallas yard on Monday. The pig, named Eleanor Pigby, has been found in Kaufman County.

Eleanor Pigby seemed to vanish from the backyard after a family member went to check up on her. Lee Morgan says Eleanor belongs to his daughter, Lauren, who is on vacation.

"You just worry that someone's got her or that she's been sold or something terrible has happened," Morgan said.

Luckily that isn't what happened. Apparently, a truck driver picked up the pig just 200 yards away from her home on Ferguson Road and took her to be with other pigs on his friend's farm in Kaufman. Eleanor is still at the farm and the driver is going to return her Wednesday evening.

There were no guarantees of a happy ending when Morgan went to check on the pot-bellied pig Monday. It was then he realized the pig was gone from the backyard she normally roams. "It's just like a kidnapper or somebody has broken in and taken her," he said at the time.

Friends went door-to-door hoping someone had spotted Eleanor. "I would think it would be strange to see a pig wondering around Dallas," said Amber Garton.

Garton said a few folks had seen Eleanor, but were not able to grab the large pig. As time passed without another sighting, Garton was worried about Eleanor's health. "It's hot. It's humid. Has she had water?" she questioned.

Morgan was hoping no one had snatched up his daughter's pet with bad intentions. Before the pig was located he said, "Just get her back here to her home so my daughter can have her birthday present back and part of her family back." And that, apparently, is exactly what's going to happen!

Morgan is now working to secure the fence around the yard where Eleanor is kept.

The family says there will be a reward for the driver after the pig is safely returned.
