BREAKING: Rockwall Teacher Turns Himself In

ROWLETT (CBSDFW.COM) - The Rockwall ISD teacher under investigation for sexual assault of a child turned himself in to Rowlett Police tonight.
James Smith, who's on administrative leave, is charged with sexual assault of a child and his bond is set at $50,000.

Detectives say they began looking into James Smith, a teacher and coach at Utley Middle School in Rockwall, back in November.
That's when the department says it received the allegation involving Smith and a teenage girl younger than 17.
Rowlett Plice and Rockwall ISD says the alleged incident does not involve any Rockwall ISD school, student, or property.
