Reward Offered In Robbery Cases On/Near Katy Trail
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A reward is now being offered for information in a string of Dallas robberies -- seven of them happening on and near the Katy Trail.
Oak Farm Dairy (formerly Schepps) is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
Dallas police believe the same two men have committed some 14 robberies since May 4.
The latest incidents involved a robbery on the Katy Trail Saturday and two more there on Sunday.
Police describe the first suspect as a black male, approximately 20 to 30 years old. The man, who at the time of the attacks was armed with a blue steel semi-automatic handgun, stands between 5'8" to 6'2" tall and weighs around 155 pounds.
The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 to 22 years old. He stands between 5'8" and 5'10" and approximately 160 pounds. The man, who may have a gold tooth and several moles near his eyes, was with a silver colored semi-automatic handgun at the time of the attacks.
Police believe the suspects were driving a gray or silver-colored 4-door sedan. The car may be or is similar to a Chrysler or Chevy Impala.
