Retail Gas Prices Slip 5 Cents Across Texas

HOUSTON (AP) - Retail gasoline prices have declined 5 cents this week across Texas.

AAA Texas on Thursday reports the average price at the pump slipped to $3.52 a gallon. The nationwide gas price index shows a decline of 7 cents, to $3.61 a gallon.

Beaumont has the least expensive gasoline in Texas this week, at $3.46 a gallon. Corpus Christi has the most expensive gasoline, at $3.55 a gallon.

The association notes that crude oil prices have declined, dropping to an average of about $93 per barrel, compared to highs of about $113 a barrel in late April.
