Retail Gas Prices Slip 1 Cent Across Texas
HOUSTON (AP) - Retail gasoline prices in Texas have slipped a penny this week.
AAA Texas on Thursday reported the average price per gallon statewide is $3.61. The association says nationwide prices at the pump are also down 1 cent, reaching $3.70 a gallon this week.
El Paso has the least expensive gasoline in Texas, at $3.53 a gallon. The group's survey found Dallas, Fort Worth and Texarkana with the most expensive gasoline, at $3.63 a gallon.
The association says uncertainty over global debt has affected crude oil prices in recent weeks.
