Rescue Crews Searching For Missing Boater
LEWISVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) - Rescue crews are searching for a boater who went missing in Lake Lewisville Sunday.
Lewisville Fire Department Division Chief Steve Carter says at before 10:30 a.m. a man in mid-twenties jumped into the water to get something that had fallen off the boat.
The man was not wearing a life jacket. He did not return.
Carter says he can't stress enough the importance of wearing a life jacket in a lake area.
