Rawlings Seeks Public's Input On Future Of Fair Park

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - There will be a special meeting held next month where North Texans can give their own input regarding the future of Fair Park. Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings announced the meeting Friday on Facebook.

Rawlings wants to hear opinions from the people regarding the next steps for this historic Dallas event space.

The meeting is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on February 8 in Fair Park's Hall of State. But those who wish to speak at the meeting must first sign up with the city secretary's office by 3:00 p.m. on February 8.

There are several ways to sign up to speak at the meeting. You can email citysecretary@dallascityhall.com, call 214-670-3738, fax 214-670-5029, or visit the office at 1500 Marilla Street, Room 5DS in Dallas. Be sure to provide your name, phone number and address, and an optional email address. Individuals are only permitted to register themselves.

Those who register to speak will be accommodated in the order that their requests are received. However, residents of Dallas will be registered ahead of all non-Dallas residents.
