The Texas Rangers reinstated second baseman Ian Kinsler and infielder Cristian Guzman from the 15-day disabled list on Wednesday.

Kinsler has been sidelined since going on the DL July 29 with a left groin strain. In 76 games this season, the All-Star is hitting .298 with six home runs and 38 runs batted in.

Guzman was placed on the DL on August 14 due to a strained right quadriceps. The veteran infielder was acquired from Washington on July 31 and is batting a mere .088 (3-for-34) in 10 contests with the Rangers.
