Rangers Make Qualifying Offer To Yovani Gallardo

DALLAS ( 105.3 The Fan) - The Rangers announced that they made the $15.8 million qualifying offer to free agent pitcher Yovani Gallardo.
Gallardo has a week to now accept or decline the 1-year offer.
If Gallardo declines and signs with another club, the Rangers will receive a draft pick as compensation.
No player has ever accepted a qualifying offer in Major League Baseball history.
Gallardo went to Trimble Tech High School in Fort Worth. He went 13-11 with a 3.42 ERA in 32 starts.
