Rain Totals Since Sunday, Plus Forecast for Your Weekend
Spotty showers and thunderstorms continue this afternoon across North Texas. Coverage is a little lower than yesterday, but if you see rain, it will be a pretty good downpour.
Rain chances will linger thru the evening and taper off overnight.
RAINFALL
Here's a look at rainfall totals since Sunday across North Texas.
BURN BANS
Some counties still have Burn Bans in effect. This is as of Wednesday, July 17, 2013. This, of course, may change thanks to recent rain.
HOT AND HUMID
Our upper level low that has been responsible for our rain the last several days continues to weaken as it pushes into New Mexico. But in its wake, we are seeing Gulf Moisture pushed northward. That moisture will make for humid weather from now into the weekend. Temperatures will climb into the mid 90s Thursday thru Sunday.
RAIN CHANCES
Rain chances will also go down tomorrow and Friday as the upper level low continues to move away. Just a very isolated pop up storm will be possible Thursday and Friday. Here are the rain chances.
