Rain Tonight, Nice by Afternoon Tomorrow
This evening we've watched the bulk of the rain staying just to the west of the Metroplex. It will move in tonight:
Be late evening the light rain will envelope the DFW area; we are not expecting thunderstorms but a steady rain going on till morning:
We'll have the rain leave east by later in the morning. Some sunshine should peak through by afternoon. Highs will be warmer to the west where the rain ends sooner:
The heavier rain will fall to the south and southeast of us. That's where the Flash Flood Watches are in effect:
Around here the amounts will be much more modest, the heavier amounts west in the areas hardest hit from the drought: Stephens, Palo Pinto, and Young Counties:
We get to some warm Spring weather on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We'll likely have some strong storms in our northern counties Wednesday night as a cold front gets to the Red River:
