Rain For The Weekend

A cold front arrives Saturday night and will be the focus for widespread showers and thunderstorms.   Severe weather is not expected although there could be a few stronger storms.

The cold front is currently back over Utah and Wyoming.

Here is a look at one of the forecast models showing the front arriving Saturday night.

HOW MUCH RAIN

Rainfall estimates still range between about .50" and 1.50".

RAIN TIMING

As mentioned above the timeframe with the highest rain coverage will be Saturday night.

Here is a look at rain chances over the weekend.

SATURDAY MORNING - humidity levels go up and there could be a few spotty showers during the morning hours.  Take the rain gear to soccer games just in case.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON - rain coverage goes up especially as we get closer to the evening.  Greatest coverage will be in northwest counties.

SATURDAY NIGHT - Rain likely for everybody overnight.

SUNDAY - Rain will linger thru most of the morning into the early afternoon.  But rain will end from west to east during the second half of the day.
