Rain Chances Shifting South During the Day
An upper level disturbance in West Texas will continue to generate showers and thunderstorms Wednesday, mainly west and south of the DFW area. There will be a few isolated showers or storms in the Metroplex, helping to keep temps down below average today.
Rain chances will be greatest today south of I-20 and west of I-35W. There will still be small rain chances in the Metroplex, but nothing as dramatic or severe as Tuesday.
Rainfall amounts from overnight and early this morning were impressive in some locations. It was really feast or famine. Where it rained, it rained hard. Lancaster picked up over 1" of rainfall in about 45 minutes!
Isolated showers are possible again Thursday, but after today rain chances really drop off. Temperatures will continue about 5-10 degrees below average as northeast winds keep up. We'll be warming up a bit by the weekend.
