Police: Attempted Abduction Near Colleyville School A Hoax

UPDATED 7:45 PM: Investigators determined the attempted abduction didn't happen.
COLLEYVILLE (CBSDFW.COM) - Colleyville police said a man tried to coax an elementary student to get into his vehicle near the campus this afternoon.
The district says the OC Taylor student was walking along Pool Road around 3 p.m. when a man wearing a dark hoodie in a dented SUV drove up and tried to coax the child to get in.
The student ran away from the man towards the school campus. Police are investigating and have increased patrols in the area.
