Plano Homeless Shelter Idea Is Scrubbed
A group pushing for a new homeless shelter in Plano has now withdrawn its request. This one day after the Plano City Council decided to postpone a vote on applying for federal money to build the shelter. Lynne Sipiora, executive director of the Samaritan Inn, says her group remains commited to working on a homeless shelter in Plano, but they now want the city to arrange a site first.
