Perry Maintains Poll Lead

A little positive movement for Governor Perry in the latest poll on the race between him and Democrat Bill White.  The latest Rasmussen Reports poll shows a nine point lead for Governor Perry, 50 to 41 percent, over Democratic Challenger Bill White.  Last month Perry's lead was 8 points.  Scott Rasmussen says it's all about change for White and status quo for Perry.  "White needs to change the question that voters have on their mind when they are thinking about this election, he needs to find some way to reframe it.  Perry needs to keep things moving and hope there is no substantial issue that changes the dynamic of the race."  Rasmussen says Perry's lead has been remarkably stable since February.
