Parker County Constable Hit By Car
IRVING (CBSDFW.COM) - An off-duty Parker County chief constable was hit by a car while he helped with traffic near a construction site Saturday morning, Irving Police said.
Chief Constable Lowell Moss was guiding traffic near Loop 12 and SH 114 when a passing car struck him. He was taken to ICU at Parkland Hospital just after 6:45 a.m. He remains in critical condition.
The driver stopped and cooperated with on-scene investigators, police said. Alcohol was not involved.
