Oncor Will Meet With State Senator Over Trimming
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - After years of debate, executives with Oncor say they are willing to discuss alternatives to their current tree-trimming policy.
A spokesperson for Oncor says company executives will meet on Monday with State Senator John Corona to discuss other possible ways to trim trees near power lines. In addition Oncor will halt trimming any trees in the Lakewood neighborhood of Dallas.
Homeowners in Lakewood say they are encouraged about these new discussions.
