North Texas Connection Made To San Bernardino Shootings

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – According to officials, an invoice found in the home of the San Bernardino Shooting suspects came from a Fort Worth-based gun and gear distributor.
Invoices found in the home of Syed Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, were from Cheaper Than Dirt and Budsgunshop.com.
Cheaper Than Dirt is a "shooting sports discounter" based in Fort Worth that sells guns, ammunition and tactical gear over the phone and online, according to its website. Budsgunshop.com is based in Kentucky.
There is no indication from officials that firearms were purchased from Cheaper Than Dirt. According to a post on their Facebook page, the company "has never sold or shipped firearms anywhere in California."
Federal sources said using an alias, Malik pledged her allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi on Facebook just before the attack.
Farook was a U.S. citizen, and his wife, Malik, was a permanent resident.
The FBI director said evidence indicates the two suspects showed signs of radicalization but were not part of a broader network.
He also said there was a lot that still didn't make sense about the attack.
Farook and Malik killed 14 people and injured 17 Wednesday when they attacked Farook's office holiday party.
The FBI said it knows who purchased the guns used in the attack, but they are not under arrest.
