FORT WORTH (AP) -- A North Texas man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for the 2011 killing of a homeless man during a crime spree.

Prosecutors say 23-year-old Jose Plascencia of Fort Worth pleaded guilty Monday to murder. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports police have said 52-year-old Robert Bradley was stabbed numerous times while at a homeless camp.

Investigators originally charged five people _ including two juveniles _ with murder. Prosecutors later cited insufficient evidence against the other four suspects.

Eduardo Luis Mendez of Fort Worth pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to two years in prison. Roman Vela of White Settlement pleaded guilty to a burglary of a vehicle charge and was put on probation.

The other two suspects are juveniles.
