No Rain; Hot, Humid Weather Returns

The main weather story this week is the return to a summer-like pattern as a large upper level sub-tropical high expands across much of the southern half of North America

Highs should slowly warm each day this week and, perhaps, flirt with triple-digits in some places Wednesday throught Saturday. There is little-to-no rain in sight.

The National Weather Service is predicting Heat Index readings higher than 105 in some parts of Texas Tuesday through Friday. Southerly wind speeds of 10-to-15 mph will prevail early in the week but will diminish to 5 mph or less by Thursday -- making

the hot, humid afternoons feel even worse.
Today: Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 90s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tuesday: Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 90s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.
