Fitness Test As Simple As Sitting & Rising

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - There is a fitness test that is as easy as sitting down and getting back up again.

It's called the Sitting Rising Test, or SRT for short. You start by standing up, and the goal is to get into a sitting position with your legs crossed using as little support as possible.

You are measured on a scale between 1 and 10, with 5 points awarded for sitting down and the other 5 points earned by getting back onto your feet. But you lose points for using your hands or knees as support, or for losing your balance.
