New Details Emerge On Teen Attack

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - We're learning more about the 17-year-old victim who who was viciously attacked near a DART bus stop Wednesday morning.

A friend describes her personality. Police documents describe her traumatic experience.  Thursday afternoon, students from Skyline High School  lined up for a DART bus that would take them home.

A 17-year old fashion student should have been among them. Annastasi Hall is her friend.

"She's very sweet. I don't ever see her do anything to offend anyone," Hall said.

But around 7:30, Wednesday morning, police say a homeless man caught Hall's 17 year old friend, walking alone, to pick-up the DART bus that would have taken her to school.

After capturing her, he viciously attacked her.

Hall said, "I can't be afraid. I have to do the same things that she does."

Like the victim, Hall travels across town to attend Skyline High - a magnate school. Hall doesn't even want to think of what may have happened to her friend.

"I don't want to cry. I don't want to meditate on it. I don't want to meditate on it," she said.

But police have released the details in the arrest warrant affidavit.   It says, they found the 17 year old in critical condition, "totally nude, dirty, covered in blood and Styrofoam debris."

She was lying in a fetal position. She had been stabbed multiple times in the chest.  An officer asked what happened.

In a weak voice she replied, "He grabbed me from Maple and raped and stabbed me."

She was able to describe her attacker. When she was asked where it happened,  she said, "Right here." It was the dumpster where he'd left her. Then, she fell unconscious.

All Hall can do for her friend now is pray.

"I just wanted to pray for her and pray for a sound, safe, mind when...if she does get better," Hall said.

The 17-year-old victim is still heavily medicated and and is expected to stay that way through the weekend, police said.  As a result the photo line-up part of the investigation will have to wait until the victim is in better shape.
