Multiple high-water rescues underway after strong storm in Montague County
A strong storm that produced a possible tornado moved northeast through Montague County on Saturday night, crossing through the town of Bowie.
CBS News Texas storm chaser Jason McLaughlin was in Bowie shortly after the storm passed and witnessed heavy flooding along several city streets.
Later in the evening, the National Weather Service confirmed that multiple high-water rescues were underway in the northern part of Montague County.
The weather service also confirmed that multiple boat crews were en route to assist.
So far, there have been no reports of injuries or damage to homes or businesses.
