Much Warmer Weekend Across DFW
Two wagers: last Wednesday mornings low of 29° will be the coldest morning of November and Sunday's high of 84° will be the warmest afternoon. What a week of temperature swings! This is the 24-hr difference at 4am of temperatures around north Texas compared to the same time yesterday morning:
Morning lows will be warmer than the afternoon highs earlier this week. This weekend lows will be in the 60's, something more typical of early September:
Highs today will reach into the low 70's with a steady south wind. Humidity will be increasing as well as these morning clouds clear away:
This weekend it'll be even warmer. We'll have a cloudy day Saturday with strong gusty south winds (15-25mph). We'll likely have some light showers in the morning but it'll be VERY warm:
These strong winds will be a problem tomorrow across the central plains and Ohio Valley. Gusts will get over 40-mph. A developing low pressure system will keep these winds strong over the weekend making for a dramatic warm-up for the eastern half of the U.S.:
This low pressure system will push a dryline then a mild cold front through here on Sunday. This will dry our air out and make for enough sunshine to get our afternoon highs near RECORD levels:
As the winds turn to the northwest on Sunday night will snap back to November reality for highs on Monday and the rest of the work week:
Slight chances for some light rain tomorrow, other than that it'll be dry for the next several days:
