More Heat on the Way
The scattered rain around North Texas and the Metroplex dropped a nice rain at DFW, which picked up over an inch! Most of us were rain-free Tuesday and expected to remain that way through the weekend.
In other news, there are two hurricanes (as of this writing) moving in the general direction toward Hawaii. Hurricane Iselle is the one farther west and closer to Hawaii. It's expected to weaken to a tropical storm overnight, but will bring a lot of rain and wind to especially the big island of Hawaii Thursday and Friday. The other hurricane is Julio and it is forecast to weaken as well as it moves west. It will approach the islands of Hawaii over the weekend. Not an ideal time for a luau.
Back at home, expect a hot & humid Thursday, with only a 10% chance of rain.
There will be many locations to see triple digits on Thursday.
We're forecasting to stay in the 100s through the weekend into Monday. Slim rain chances return early next week as a weak cold front tries to move into our area. Stay tuned!
